about manny

Born in The Bronx, New York City and raised in a pastoral home in Brooklyn, Emmanuel “Manny” Rosario learned early the power of faith, resilience, and service. In his teenage years, his family relocated to Orlando, Florida, where a deep motivation took root to live with purpose and create a better future. Determined to forge his own path, Manny pursued a career in supply chain and operations, climbing the corporate ladder and achieving what many would define as success. Yet it was there in boardrooms, performance metrics, and professional wins that Manny recognized something deeper was missing. While he had run from ministry in pursuit of achievement, he discovered that purpose had been quietly forming all along. At the height of corporate success, his direction shifted toward a calling not just to lead, but to build community.

That calling led Manny to plant a church with just 17 people in Central Florida, which he pastored and led for ten years. After a decade of church planting, he transitioned into a staff pastor role at a larger church in need of revitalization, helping lead a transformation that extended beyond the church walls and into the surrounding community and eventually the city itself, while building trusted relationships with civic, church, and marketplace leaders at both the city and state levels.

Today, Manny serves as Vice President of Multicultural Engagement at Convoy of Hope, a faith based humanitarian organization dedicated to feeding the hungry, empowering the poor, and responding to disasters across the United States and around the world. In this role, the full formation of his life converges as corporate leadership, pastoral ministry, public speaking, and civic engagement equip him to bridge cultures, mobilize churches, and build strategic partnerships for global impact. Manny believes nothing was wasted and that every season of his journey prepared him for this work of compassion, collaboration, and lasting change.

An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, he holds degrees in Communication and Theology and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Organizational Management from the University of Florida. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Mimi, and together they have two sons, MJ and Alex, his greatest joy and most important legacy.
